What it costs, and what decides it.
Four shapes, each with what it costs to build and what the monthly pays for. The audit and the call decide which shape fits; the number follows the shape, not the other way round.
| Shape | What it is | What the monthly covers | What it does not promise |
|---|---|---|---|
| the frozen copy The default when the site is finished. $1,500 to build, then $79 a month. Includes 15 minutes a month, then $85 an hour. |
A fast, unbreakable copy of your site that nobody edits. | Keeping it watched: a check that the copy still serves, and a restore of the last good copy if it stops. There is nothing to update and no server to patch, which is why this is the smallest monthly of the four. | You cannot edit it. Changing a word means asking us. |
| the copy with a workshop The default for a site that still publishes, and does not need a change to appear instantly. $2,500 to build, then $179 a month. Includes 1.5 hours a month, then $85 an hour. |
Your public site is the copy, and you still log in and publish. | The loop that follows your publishing: each time you publish, the copy is brought forward, and if it has fallen behind you hear it from us first. It also covers the watching, and the agreed time a change is allowed to take. | A change appears within one agreed interval, not instantly. |
| rebuilt from your content The conversation to have when a plugin builds your pages and the site earns enough to be worth rebuilding. $5,000 to build, then $349 a month. Includes 2.5 hours a month, then $85 an hour. |
Your content lives in one place and the site is built from it. | The build itself: every publish runs it, its parts get updated, and a build that breaks is ours to notice rather than yours. This one is a routine rather than a page, so it carries the largest monthly. | It is a build project, so plugins that shape your pages have to be replaced one by one. |
| WordPress with a fast front A rescue, for a site with a login, a cart, or a plugin that cannot move. $900 to build, then $249 a month. Includes 2 hours a month, then $85 an hour. |
Your real site, served quickly, everything still working. | Watching and patching a site that is still live underneath. A plugin update is what breaks it, so this monthly buys upkeep rather than change. It is a rescue, not a default. | It is still your site: a plugin or an update can still break it. |
Every monthly includes one short note a month: what was measured, what moved, and what we did about it.
What is free, and what is not
| Free | What you get | What it costs |
|---|---|---|
| The audit | A sample of up to five pages, checks across speed, security, email, discoverability and page weight, as a link you can share. | Nothing. The checks need no account, and the speed measurement is free five times a day. |
| The whole site | Every page read and every internal link followed, a list to hand to a developer, and the five things to fix first. Up to two thousand pages. | Nothing, and an address so the report has somewhere to go. |
When it needs us
Two things the free report cannot see. The first is inside your server: plugin versions, the database, what your backups actually contain, and what you pay. The second is the work itself, which is one of the four shapes above. The audit decides which one, and the call is where it becomes a quote.
What moves the number
- The builder. WordPress blocks are supported today; Elementor is next; anything else is a paid first step, quoted separately.
- How much of the site is generated. A shop, a members area or a booking engine is an application with its own price, not a page.
- Where your visitors are. The first-byte gain is distance from your server. A site hosted in the same city as its readers gains less from a copy and more from rebuilding.
- Verification. Every migration is gated on URL parity, content parity and media parity. That work is in the price, not an extra.
What it costs to run afterwards
The three shapes that serve a copy are files on Cloudflare's paid plan: five dollars a month, plus nothing for media at this scale and nothing for egress. Keeping your site as it is today means keeping its server, so the honest comparison is that this one costs more per month to run than most small hosting does, and the shapes where the editor moves cost less.
On its own, not one of the four
These two are the only things on this page without a figure, and the reason is that their size is not set by the shape of a site: one depends on how many mailboxes there are, the other on which plugin is doing the work. Both are scoped in the same call and quoted before anything starts.
Email. A mailbox on your domain, aliases, and SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up and tested, for anyone still using a free mailbox on a business site.
A plugin turned into an app. Comments, forms, search, a shop or a members area, rebuilt as our own, so the plugin and its subscription go. This is a project rather than a monthly, and it is what we mean when the survey says that comments on the page need a live service.
No promised scores. Nobody can promise a Lighthouse score: it depends on your images, your tags and your visitors' networks. What we promise is the work and the measurement, before and after, from your own site.
