Where can I find Pine Script strategy examples and reference

Your language reference is TradingView's own Pine Script v6 User Manual, and it is free. For worked examples, three places pay off, and the largest of them is the least reliable. The manual is authoritative, the public script library is the biggest collection of real code, and the PineCoders community writes the conventions the other two mostly ignore.

TradingView gives a script two minutes to compile, and after three consecutive warnings it enforces a one-hour ban on compilation attempts.

What each of the three is actually good for

  • The manual

The language, the strategy engine, and the platform's own limits. Its weak spot is worked strategy examples, and it is not trying to be.

  • The public script library

Thousands of published scripts whose source you can read. Nothing there is reviewed, and a published script is not a working strategy.

  • The PineCoders community

Style, conventions and migration notes, written by people who maintain libraries. It documents the language rather than the platform's execution limits.

A published example tells you what somebody typed, not what it returns. Many strategies in the library repaint, and some no longer compile against the current version. Read the source before you trust the output. Then check what the platform will let the script do, because that ceiling arrives before the idea does.
