Best resource to learn Pine Script for TradingView strategies
For the language, the best resource is TradingView's own manual, and it is free. For strategies, the manual's Strategies section plus the backtester matter more than any course, because together they decide whether an idea can run on the platform at all. The runtime budget is the part most learners meet last, and it is the first thing to size an idea against.
A Pine script gets 20 seconds to execute across its dataset on a basic account and 40 seconds on other account types, and any single-bar loop is capped at 500 milliseconds.

-
Data first, idea second
Write an indicator before a strategy. An indicator shows you what the series holds without the backtester's assumptions in the way.
-
Then the strategy engine
Run the same strategy on three symbols and two timeframes. A strategy that works on one symbol is fitted to that symbol.
-
Then look for repainting
Check whether a signal changes after the bar closes. If it does, the backtest describes a market that never existed.
A TradingView backtest is a simulation with the platform's own fill assumptions, not the market. A beautiful equity curve is a question about your inputs rather than an answer about your edge. Size the idea against the runtime budget first, then tune it, because a strategy that cannot finish computing is not a strategy.
